A Safe Space for System and Trauma Impacted Women and Girls

 JOIN OUR CAMPAIGNS

A Little Piece of Light (ALPOL) empowers individuals and the larger community
to end the systemic trauma perpetuated by the United States criminal justice system.

In addition to its efforts to heal individuals and the larger community, ALPOL empowers its base to end the criminal justice system’s cycle of systemic trauma.

The Restoration of Self

Restoration of Self is central to ALPOL’s approach to transformative change.

ALPOL offers safe spaces and delivers appropriately informed, evidence-based programs to individuals seeking to develop their own life skills, healing strategies, and personal agency.

ALPOL facilitates an explorative journey in which participants overcome their lived experience of successive trauma and its cumulative, debilitating effects.
